UNLEASHING
THE POTENTIONAL OF
CRICKET PROTEINS
We want to make cricket farming better. Our approach is to go deep and understand the potential of crickets using a science backed approach in the entire value chain from the upstream farming and processing, to downstream food product formulation. Thanks to research partnerships with different companies and institutes, we have advanced knowledge in this industry. Through improving the quality and efficiency of the farming process, all whilst meeting the highest standards possible.
FOOD
OPTIMISATION
Feed makes up over 60% of cricket farming costs. At the same time, 1/3 of all food produced globally is wasted. We see this as an opportunity to create nutritious feed recipes for crickets using food and agricultural by products at a low cost. Partnering Republic Polytechnic, we have conducted science backed feed research to create a waste to feed solution that optimises cricket growth and nutrition.
FARMING
OPTIMISATION
We are tearing apart the current way crickets are farmed globally and working from first principles to create a better way to farm. Our research with NUS is working on a new cricket hide which intends to provide a more efficient and cleaner way of rearing the crickets.
FRASS
OPTIMISATION
The manure of crickets also called Frass are extremely rich in nutrients and microbial life. They can fertilize both soil and hydrponics and have reached great success with growing leafy vegetables and herbs.
